Advisory on Heavy Rainfall and Flood

Cloudy weather with light rain is expected over the Northern and Western parts of the country with moderate to heavy rainfall over the Central, Southern and Eastern parts of the country during the next three days (19 - 21 June 2023). Rainfall is expected to continue in the following days.

Owing to the active monsoon and continuous rainfall received over most places in Bhutan during the past two weeks, there is a possibility of landslides and flash floods over the isolated places of the country.
