Cloudy weather with light to moderate rainfall is likely over the country, with heavy to very
heavy rainfall over Southern and isolated places of Central parts of the country during next 2
days (12-13 July 2023)
Light rainfall over the country, with moderate rainfall over Southern and Central parts of the
country is expected to continue till 19 July.
Owing to the continuous rainfall received during the past weeks, and the forecast of very heavy
rainfall in the coming week, riverine floods, flash floods, localised landslides/mudslides, and
possibilities of damage to vulnerable structures are likely over the Southern and isolated places of
the country.
Relevant authorities and the public are advised to take necessary precautions.
