WMO Working Group for Hydrological Services of RA-II visited NCHM office and facilities, November 26, 2018 (afternoon).

Delegates from World Meteorological Organization (WMO) led by Dr Paul Pilon, Chief of Hydrological Forecasting and Water Resources Division, and Mr. Hyo Seob Choi, Director, Han River Flood Control Office, Ministry of Environment, Republic of Korea and theme leaders of Working Group on Hydrological Services (WGHS) of RA-II visited the National Center for Hydrology and Meteorology (NCHM) office and facilities yesterday afternoon (26 November, 2018).

The delegation was welcomed by the Director and Chiefs of the Divisions. NCHM made a brief overview presentation of institutional structure, mandates, functions, current services and long term plan including the challenges faced to visiting delegates and experts.

Team also visited the National Weather and Flood Warning Center (NWFWC) of NCHM that is operated for 24/7 and interacted with the weather and flood forecasters.
