The National Centre for Hydrology and Meteorology has conducted the Civil Service Award Ceremony for the year 2020 on 12 December 2020 at Energy Conference Hall. The ceremony was graced by Mr. Karma Dupchu, Director of the Center.

Addressing the ceremony, the Director conveyed the recipients that civil service award is initiated by RCSC upon the command of His Majesty the King for the recognition and appreciation of the dedicated service to Tsa-Wa-Sum. Further, Director emphasized that it was an excellent occasion for recipients and all other employees of Center to pay tribute and rededicate the commitment and loyalty to serve Tsa-Wa-Sum.

Total of 31 employees of the Center were awarded dedicated service medals and certificates; 22 recipients for 10 years and above, 1 recipient for 20 years and above, 4 recipients for 30 years and above and 4 recipients were awarded with life time service awards.

Coinciding with the Civil Service Award Ceremony, the Center also awarded Certificates of Appreciation to 5 Outstanding Employees for the Appraisal Period 2019-2020.

Director and the Management of the Center congratulated all the award recipients on their well-deserved recognitions.
