Bhutan is under an active monsoon period. There is a shift of monsoon trough towards the Himalayan foothills. Due to this shift, there is a forecast of moderate to heavy rainfall over isolated places of southern, eastern, and central parts of the country during the next 72 hours (from 12th August onwards). The rest of the places are likely to receive light rain during the same period.

Updates will be issued if there are any significant changes in the forecast.
