As per the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the Southwest Monsoon has withdrawn from North East India, West Bengal, and Assam region on the 12th October 2021. Bhutan has not received rainfall for the past four days and there is a reduction in the moisture content over the country as seen in the satellite imagery.

Despite the withdrawal of monsoon, the country can still receive isolated rainfall, in the events of Low pressure, Depression, Cyclone, and development of localized convective clouds among others. Such events will be updated in the daily weather forecast.
