2) Class C Station data

NCHM operates and monitors 64 Class C Stations across the country. Like Class A stations, Class C stations are manned stations with observations recorded either on a chart or read nominally once every day at the same time (usually in the morning). These stations are considered climate stations as they are simply collected to document the climate and are available for assessing climate trends.

The following weather variables are observed:

  • Rainfall
  • Maximum Temperature
  • Minimum Temperature
  • Relative Humidity

(The data for the parameters mentioned above are available daily, monthly, and annually)
