Light to moderate snow is forecasted over the high altitude areas and the high passes of the country during the next 48 hours. Light rain is expected over the rest of the country during the same period. 

There is a forecast of moderate to heavy snowfall over the northern and high altitude areas and light snow/rain over western, central, and eastern parts of the country during the 4th and 5th February 2022.  (Dzongkhag wise: Snow is likely in pockets of Gasa, Bumthang, Haa, Thimphu, Paro,  and Trongsa).
