Weather remark- Update 1

Moderate to heavy rain was received in the last two days at isolated places in the south. The highest rainfall was 67.4 mm at Phuentsholing on 14th April 2022. Thunder and lightning were observed at a few places in the south and eastern parts of the country.

The weather for the next 3 days is expected to be mostly sunny to partly cloudy with light rain over isolated places. However, there is a forecast of moderate to heavy rain over isolated places in the south from 20th April onwards. Thunderstorms are likely over a few places during the same period.

Further, there is a possibility of gusty wind at isolated places of the country during the next 72 hours.
